Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the SAP S/4HANA automation testing strategy in alignment with quality engineering objectives.
  • Establish automation best practices, methodologies, processes, and governance across the end-to-end testing lifecycle.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for SAP GUI, Fiori, and integrated systems.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated regression, integration, and component-level functional test scripts.
  • Own and enhance the regression test repository to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
  • Define and track automation KPIs covering framework performance, ROI, coverage, and efficiency.
  • Integrate automation tools with test management platforms to update results and generate reports.
  • Coordinate automation deliverables with functional teams, development teams, and implementation partners.
  • Integrate and manage the automation repository within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
  • Design, publish, and maintain real-time automation dashboards in test management tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience implementing and supporting test automation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with automation testing for SAP ERP applications and SAP S/4HANA programs.
  • Strong proficiency with Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, and Suxxesso Automation Test Suite.
  • Experience building and maintaining data-driven, modular, keyword-driven, BDD, and Page Object Model automation frameworks.
  • Expertise with Jira, Xray, Confluence, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Strong background in functional automation for SAP native applications and SAP Fiori apps.
  • Ability to define KPIs and metrics for automation ROI, coverage, and efficiency.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; German or other additional languages are advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% as required by project work.
