Responsibilities
- Define and implement the SAP S/4HANA automation testing strategy in alignment with quality engineering objectives.
- Establish automation best practices, methodologies, processes, and governance across the end-to-end testing lifecycle.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for SAP GUI, Fiori, and integrated systems.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated regression, integration, and component-level functional test scripts.
- Own and enhance the regression test repository to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Define and track automation KPIs covering framework performance, ROI, coverage, and efficiency.
- Integrate automation tools with test management platforms to update results and generate reports.
- Coordinate automation deliverables with functional teams, development teams, and implementation partners.
- Integrate and manage the automation repository within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Design, publish, and maintain real-time automation dashboards in test management tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience implementing and supporting test automation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with automation testing for SAP ERP applications and SAP S/4HANA programs.
- Strong proficiency with Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, and Suxxesso Automation Test Suite.
- Experience building and maintaining data-driven, modular, keyword-driven, BDD, and Page Object Model automation frameworks.
- Expertise with Jira, Xray, Confluence, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Strong background in functional automation for SAP native applications and SAP Fiori apps.
- Ability to define KPIs and metrics for automation ROI, coverage, and efficiency.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; German or other additional languages are advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% as required by project work.
