Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a scalable, reusable test automation framework for iOS and Android applications.
- Improve test strategies, automation frameworks, and QA processes.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and drive testability.
- Analyze test failures and defects, reproduce bugs, and provide detailed bug reports.
- Own the strategy to increase mobile test automation coverage and reduce manual testing.
- Advocate for safe applications that meet high quality standards.
- Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and collaborate with QA engineers and developers and share testing best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 6–9 years of software QA experience, including at least 3 years of mobile automation.
- Hands-on experience with Appium, Espresso, UIAutomator2, XCUITest, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, and GitHub.
- Experience with backend/API testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, Katalon, or Charles Proxy.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum and strong professional English communication skills.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate test automation while maintaining quality, reliability, and safety.
- Preferred experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, security/privacy or medical device regulations, startup environments, ISTQB or CASTP certifications, SQL, database validation, SAFe, and device-cloud platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
