Responsibilities
- Create complex, scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows, including AI-assisted code review, test generation, release readiness checks, incident triage, and root-cause acceleration.
- Define validation, security, resiliency, reuse, auditability, and data-handling guardrails for AI-enabled engineering practices.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
- Advise cross-functional teams on technology matters and serve as the function’s subject matter expert.
- Create durable, reusable software frameworks leveraged across teams and functions.
- Influence senior stakeholders and executives across business, product, and technology teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
- 15+ years of overall experience and current experience working as a hands-on Senior SME.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, React, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with AWS ECS, AWS EKS, and Terraform.
- Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices across teams.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use, security, resiliency, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance in engineering workflows.
- Experience solving complex technology problems across one or more technical disciplines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred experience in financial or regulatory reporting.
- Preferred working experience with Databricks.
