Responsibilities
- Audit existing infrastructure components for cloud-specific dependencies.
- Design and implement cloud-agnostic abstractions over compute, networking, and storage layers.
- Maintain and evolve Kubernetes-based workload orchestration for portability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure multi-cloud portability from the start.
- Contribute to architecture decisions regarding cloud environments and colocated infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments at scale.
- Proficient in Kubernetes across multiple environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi.
- Experience in cloud abstraction or re-platforming initiatives.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in async or globally distributed teams.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve real-world developer problems.
