Responsibilities

Implement and support improvements that increase efficiency, software quality, and delivery speed.
Collaborate with Development, QA, IT Operations, Infosec, UCD, and other multidisciplinary teams to apply DevOps best practices.
Create, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins.
Manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and support containerized environments with Kubernetes and Helm.
Write Python automation scripts and apply GitOps, proactive monitoring, and continuous-improvement practices.
Manage database schema changes and monitor systems for reliability and performance.
Translate business requirements into technical implementations and act as a business subject-matter expert.
Communicate, negotiate, and influence stakeholders to ensure services operate effectively and team efforts are well prioritized.

At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong knowledge of AWS and practical experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins.
Experience with Python scripting and automation.
Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, integration, and schema change management such as Liquibase.
Experience with monitoring tools to support system reliability and performance.
Understanding of GitOps principles and a mindset focused on automation, proactive monitoring, continuous improvement, and best practices.
Strong communication, stakeholder-management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Willingness to travel, the right to work in the UK, and the ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
