Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test cases and execute manual and exploratory testing for digital products.
- Test web and mobile applications, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.
- Validate requirements, identify gaps and edge cases, and assess solution testability.
- Create test plans, test summary reports, and other supporting documentation.
- Contribute to project planning, testing prioritization, task estimation, and risk mitigation.
- Own and uphold QA processes and testing best practices across the team.
- Use CMS experience and defect or incident tracking tools to support quality assurance.
Requirements
- Expertise in understanding digital products, developing test scenarios, analyzing requirements, diagnosing and tracking defects, and applying industry-standard testing practices.
- ISTQB Foundation certification.
- Experience with software testing techniques, test-support tools, and incident or defect tracking systems.
- Experience testing mobile applications with tools such as Appium.
- Understanding of APIs and experience with Charles Proxy and Postman.
- Experience with UI automated testing tools such as Cypress.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
Benefits
- Three-month freelance or contractor engagement with a view to further extension.
- Remote working; Hungary residence is essential.
- Daily rate of 80,000–160,000 HUF.
