Responsibilities
- Develop and govern solution architectures for complex integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Define and evolve integration architectures using enterprise platforms, integration patterns, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Recommend API-led, event-based, batch, and file-transfer integration approaches based on business and technical needs.
- Document architectures in accordance with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, data governance policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage delivery teams and vendors to communicate architectural decisions and ensure governance adherence.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and robust integration solutions across hybrid landscapes.
- Maintain domain standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and documentation using architecture repositories and tooling.
- Contribute to the SAP and Integration domain roadmap and long-term platform strategy.
- Evaluate emerging integration technologies and vendor solutions for scalability, reliability, security, and operational impact.
- Support reliability, performance, monitoring, and operational improvements across the enterprise integration landscape.
Requirements
- Proven IT delivery and solution or domain architecture experience focused on SAP and enterprise integrations.
- Experience delivering integration architecture using enterprise platforms such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Process Orchestration, Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Strong understanding of SAP on-premises and cloud architectures and integration options including IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData, REST, and events.
- Hands-on experience designing and governing integrations across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
- Experience contributing to complex, multi-system programs in global enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise and solution architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent.
- Ability to influence without formal authority and collaborate with business, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
- Experience working in global and cross-cultural environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related business field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- English-language proficiency is required.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is preferred.
