Base Salary
$219k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with account executives for the assigned territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Influence stakeholders across the cloud ecosystem and third-party applications to advance Databricks' solution strategy.
- Architect, design, and support adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform for significant data analytics initiatives.
- Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Pursue continued development through technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management tracks.
Requirements
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and managing the technical pre-sales sales lifecycle.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives, build relationships, and orchestrate teams toward long-term customer success.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, plus willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
