Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, data, and cloud strategy for the largest client accounts.
- Present architectures and strategic technical plans to customer C-level executives.
- Design innovative solutions leveraging enterprise modernization, capability mapping, and Agentic AI.
- Bridge Celonis product and engineering teams with client technical teams.
- Assess the IT landscape maturity of the customer installed base for the region.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales engagements with customer architecture and security teams.
- Coach consulting teams and ecosystem partners on architecture, integration, performance, scalability, and implementation issues.
- Develop reusable consulting assets, customer-facing position papers, technical designs, and thought leadership presentations.
- Support sales goals including new customer acquisition, retention, and up-selling.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant experience as a software vendor architect, consulting CTO, or enterprise architect.
- Strategic ability to connect technical solutions with business value and customer objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex technical concepts to C-level executives.
- Experience with Capability Mapping, Enterprise Modernization, and Agentic AI.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions, ERP platforms, cybersecurity posture fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures.
- Strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, data operations, automation, and data-related development using languages such as SQL and Python.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, or ServiceNow.
- Ability to explain architecture designs and code or assemble architecture demonstrations.
- MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent Information Technology-related field.
- Fluency in English; Spanish, German, French, or Italian is advantageous.
- Preferred qualifications include Celonis certifications, OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines experience, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, ESB/ETL certifications, and TOGAF/Zachman certification.
- Experience in at least two business domains and at least two listed industries is preferred.
