Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams as the technical solution authority on strategic pursuits and bids.
- Lead discovery workshops and client envisioning sessions to define scope, architecture, and delivery approach.
- Develop, defend, and present technically credible proposals, estimates, RFP responses, and solution narratives.
- Build trusted relationships with client technical and executive stakeholders throughout and beyond the sales cycle.
- Maintain solution integrity from presales through delivery and ensure sold solutions are successfully implemented.
- Provide technical leadership across frontend, backend, API, cloud, data, and integration engagements.
- Guide architecture, cloud-native design, CI/CD practices, engineering standards, technical risk management, and delivery assurance.
- Oversee DevOps practices and data and integration patterns across active engagements.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to practice development, offerings, intellectual property, and engineering culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in presales, solutioning, or technical bid roles, including shaping and winning deals.
- Strong technical background in modern frontend, backend, API, and Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.
- Ability to present compelling solution narratives to technical audiences and business decision-makers.
- Experience leading or contributing to RFP responses, estimates, and client workshops.
- Ability to operate at multiple seniority levels according to deal complexity and client maturity.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch are required.
- Familiarity with the Avanade or Microsoft partner ecosystem is advantageous.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Background in team leadership or technical people management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices, engineering productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, SQL and NoSQL databases, and data-driven application design is advantageous.
