Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on ServiceNow development involving client scripts, business rules, UI actions and policies, data policies, workflow automation, Flow Designer, Integration Hub spokes, Script Includes, catalog items, Service Portal widgets, UI pages, and event or alert rules.
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems, monitoring tools, and operational platforms using REST, SOAP, APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Develop AI-enabled automation workflows for predictive operations, automated incident response, intelligent service management, event correlation, anomaly detection, predictive incident management, and automated remediation.
- Integrate machine learning services, analytics platforms, and intelligent decision engines into ServiceNow workflows and support predictive service monitoring and operational dashboards.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, platform governance, and compliance requirements.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide estimates and solution designs for roadmap and program planning.
- Provide technical leadership, establish development standards, mentor junior developers, and serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with architects, engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and mission teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
- At least 3 years of ITSM development experience.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- ServiceNow CSA certification.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI or CI poly.
- Preferred: bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with AIOps, intelligent automation, AI-enabled operational platforms, ServiceNow integrations, monitoring tools, data platforms, operational analytics, federal or defense IT modernization, REST APIs, microservices, automation frameworks, and large-scale enterprise IT environments.
- Preferred: Certified Technical Architect certification.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, manage multiple time-constrained efforts, communicate effectively, solve problems, and support or train end users.
