Responsibilities
- Research client needs, conduct assessments, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions.
- Build and deliver high-quality, performant frontend code for Zebra handheld touch-screen devices.
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead refactoring efforts in existing programs.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clients.
- Provide technical consultancy to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, analyze performance, and optimize applications.
- Mentor colleagues and help develop team members with lower seniority.
- Design responsive, touch-optimized, usable, and fault-tolerant interfaces for operational environments.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Vue.js 3 and the Composition API.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with frontend-backend integrations using REST APIs and HTTP clients.
- Experience developing responsive and touch-optimized user interfaces for constrained screen sizes and operational devices.
- Experience with version control and collaboration tools such as Git and Atlassian tools, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, performance analysis, and optimization skills.
- Ability to use AI-powered tools to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decisions, and enhance delivered solutions.
- Ability to work closely with hardware and adapt solutions to different project contexts.
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction.
- Experience or interest in offline and degraded-mode UX, Android WebView or hybrid applications, Vitest, Cypress, Node.js, Docker, application lifecycle practices, CI/CD, security, and UI/UX.
