Responsibilities
- Design and develop frontend features from requirements analysis through delivery.
- Own frontend architecture across multiple projects, including component architecture, state management, and shared libraries.
- Build efficient, testable, reusable UI components and promote consistent frontend standards.
- Resolve complex performance, reliability, maintainability, cross-browser, and cross-device issues.
- Integrate and help shape REST and GraphQL APIs, including collaboration with backend developers.
- Maintain, refactor, and modernize application features, including legacy code.
- Conduct UX/UI and application requirements analysis with developers, QA, designers, and product teams.
- Perform code reviews and mentor frontend developers, including guiding responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Lead root-cause analysis for issues spanning multiple systems.
- Provide estimates and technical documentation, manage project priorities and deadlines, and work with external partners as needed.
- Use project management tools to track requests, issues, work progress, and changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable software development role.
- Mastery of modern JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript, with extensive production experience using Vue.
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5, modern CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, scalable styling architectures, and SCSS.
- In-depth experience with Vite or similar build tools such as Webpack, including build configuration and optimization.
- Understanding of scalable, high-performance frontend application challenges, including rendering performance, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ability to write and maintain automated tests and clear technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Git, version control, branching, and code review workflows.
- Experience resolving cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues.
- Solid experience consuming and helping shape REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Hands-on experience with real-time communication technologies such as WebSockets or Server-Sent Events.
- Experience with iframe interactions and cross-origin communication such as postMessage.
- Working knowledge of Docker for managing local development environments.
- Experience mentoring developers or acting as a technical lead on a frontend initiative.
- Comfort with AI-assisted development tools, including AI coding assistants and MCP integrations.
- Working proficiency and strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Preferred: Unix shell and Linux development experience, SEO knowledge, familiarity with GEO, SQL knowledge, ability to read PHP, and Laravel experience.
