Base Salary
$110k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor the industry for newly identified cybersecurity threats and assess risks to Hologic products.
- Perform and document vulnerability assessments and support product teams with security and network vulnerability issues.
- Assist product development efforts involving security and network vulnerabilities.
- Develop, execute, and automate test procedures for operating system patches and antivirus software.
- Educate sales and service personnel about network security and virus protection.
- Work with software engineers to develop and implement security requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues associated with networked, computer-based products.
- Qualify Hologic networked products with Engineering and Field Service resources to meet customer expectations.
- Travel to Hologic offices, training sessions, and customer sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4–8 years of relevant experience in computer and network security, computer networking administration, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, software application testing and maintenance, and cybersecurity risk assessment.
- Experience with enterprise computer network infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of security analysis and protection tools and network design concepts.
- Preferred experience with medical information system administration, software verification in a regulated industry, PACS, DICOM, ASTM, HL7, EMR, EHR, medical informatics, and technical support for field service or end users.
- Security-related certifications such as CISSP are strongly preferred.
- Windows, Linux, and Cisco certifications are preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience with a provider or medical equipment vendor is preferred.
