  • Drive platform attestation architecture, including root of trust, measured boot, reference measurements, and remote verification.
  • Lead system-wide threat modeling, security analysis, secure-debug architecture, and protection of debug, test, and diagnostic interfaces.
  • Write system architecture specifications for platform security features and incorporate security assessment and audit findings.
  • Apply AI-assisted engineering tooling to accelerate security analysis, reviews, and documentation and help establish team usage practices.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of experience in platform, system, or product security architecture with ownership at system scope.
  • Deep understanding of CPU, accelerator, SoC, memory hierarchy, DMA, I/O subsystems, PCIe, and CXL security features.
  • Experience with confidential computing, trusted execution environments, memory encryption, VM isolation, firmware security, secure updates, recovery, and anti-rollback.
  • Expertise in root of trust, secure boot, measured boot, boot-chain architecture, attestation, DICE, SPDM, TPM/TCG concepts, and reference measurement lifecycles.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, key hierarchies, key management, threat modeling, security architecture, and platform-scope protocol design.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and ability to read assembly, along with practical fluency in AI-assisted and agentic development tooling.
  • Experience securing AI/ML workloads at datacenter scale, including GPU and accelerator architecture, virtualization, SR-IOV, SIOV, MIG, and firmware.
  • Experience with secure debug, JTAG and scan-chain protection, fuse and lifecycle-state management, side-channel analysis, and fault-injection analysis.
  • Familiarity with SBOM, build provenance, Caliptra, OpenBMC, coreboot, EDK II, openSIL, external security audits, red teams, platform assessments, TCG, NIST, OCP, and post-quantum cryptography migration.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Benefits

  • AMD benefits are offered as described in its benefits-at-a-glance materials.
