Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Linux Kernel features related to virtualization, KVM, scheduling, memory management, and IOMMU.
- Optimize power and performance management technologies such as DVFS for ARM-based systems.
- Develop system software for ARMv8 and ARMv9 platforms and contribute to upstream Linux Kernel open-source projects.
- Analyze system requirements, propose system architectures, and maintain technical documentation.
- Perform pre-silicon development on FPGA-based platforms and QEMU.
- Debug complex software and hardware issues using JTAG debuggers and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Lead engineers and provide supervision to direct reports.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability and risk assessments, threat analysis, and security code reviews.
- Develop security architectures and features, drive remediation of security risks, and respond to product security incidents.
- Develop and deploy secure product development processes, training, and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of software development experience, or equivalent.
- Strong Linux Kernel development experience, particularly with KVM, schedulers, memory management, and device trees.
- Knowledge of ARMv8 and ARMv9 architecture and extensions.
- Understanding of computer system architecture, including cores, caches, memory models, and bus architecture.
- Experience with board and SoC bring-up, device drivers, peripheral buses, SPI, I2C, USB, and DDR memory controllers.
- Familiarity with Git and JTAG debugging technologies.
- Prior contributions to open-source projects such as the Linux Kernel.
- Strong debugging skills and practical experience with ARM-based platforms.
- Experience with software and system performance management tools and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems software development methodologies.
- Expertise in security assessments, vulnerability remediation, threat analysis, security architecture, and secure product development.
