Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Technically lead the design and development of embedded audio software running on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
- Analyze high-level requirements, derive engineering requirements, and produce technical documentation.
- Develop, troubleshoot, maintain, and debug software applications, frameworks, and drivers.
- Manage priorities, monitor task progress, and take corrective actions to deliver work products on time and at the required quality and performance levels.
- Communicate development status, risks, issues, and mitigations to project leads and stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams to influence decisions and negotiate desired outcomes.
- Solve ambiguous and complex technical problems and define implementation steps.
- Contribute to strategic, development, deployment, and process-improvement planning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 1+ year of experience or a PhD in a related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred: 4+ years of embedded software development with relevant industry experience.
- Excellent C/C++ programming and Python or other scripting skills, including efficient code development for embedded and multithreaded systems.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, multithreaded programming, computer architecture, real-time operating systems, data structures, and basic algorithms.
- Understanding of power, memory, and performance considerations in embedded systems.
- Preferred experience with multimedia or audio software frameworks, embedded driver development, debugging tools and techniques, memory and performance optimization, and ARM/DSP or other embedded processors and SoCs.
