Base Salary
$120k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define application security policies for Hivemind software.
- Deploy and configure security scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Review scanning results and work with developers to identify and remediate security issues.
- Partner with architecture teams on secure-by-default software design.
- Perform threat modeling and validate designs against secure coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with approximately 4+ years, in cybersecurity, software engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience developing or testing secure code.
- Understanding of software engineering practices, including automated testing, configuration management, and software lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with threat modeling and software analysis tools such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, dependency mapping, and CVE scanning.
- Comfort working in a Linux development environment.
- Basic understanding of cryptography concepts and strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes application security for complex software products, DevSecOps in GitLab, Python, C, C++, or Go programming/testing, red-teaming, and software reverse engineering.
