Responsibilities
- Design, build, and productionize AI and agent-based systems integrating LLMs with data, services, tools, and ML models.
- Develop scalable, efficient, reliable, and accurate workflows for complete GenAI product experiences.
- Evaluate architecture solutions based on cost, business requirements, latency, throughput, scale, and emerging technologies.
- Develop generative AI applications and contribute to GPT-like model solutions for content generation, question answering, translation, and related use cases.
- Build and maintain production ML applications and tooling, including service integrations, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Own ML applications and services end to end, including metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, reliability, and model-output quality.
- Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, product managers, data scientists, and analysts to translate business requirements into ML solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role delivering ML solutions.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience building tested, maintainable production services or applications.
- Experience deploying and operating ML models and applications in cloud environments, including model serving, monitoring, and CI/CD.
- Experience evaluating model and application quality and using traces and metrics to diagnose production failures.
- Experience with AWS SageMaker and TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn for training, evaluation, and model serving.
- Experience with big-data processing and data-at-scale technologies such as PySpark, Apache Flink, Snowflake, and MySQL.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Cassandra, and DynamoDB.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data structures.
- Experience deploying large-scale language models such as GPT or BERT is advantageous.
- Experience with NumPy, pandas, and matplotlib for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization is advantageous.
- Experience with experimental design, A/B testing, ML evaluation metrics, and products serving large customer bases is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; Java experience is advantageous.
