Responsibilities
- Lead proof-of-concept solutioning and serve as the overall technical lead for the product and its deployment tasks.
- Administer development-related tools in Salesforce and MuleSoft sandbox environments.
- Provide Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS expertise during technical solutioning discussions and advise on product enhancements.
- Gather requirements with the product team and translate them into technical solutions.
- Oversee technical-debt reduction, establish code-review standards, and maintain code quality.
- Pair-program with the technical team to develop skills and domain knowledge.
- Design and discuss integrations with other applications and provide technical expertise for development and operational issues.
- Review Salesforce major-release notes for system impact and support onboarding of new product features and versions.
- Manage technical risks and ensure compliance with government security policies, secure coding standards, data modeling, data sharing, and data privacy.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma and five years of IT Solution Architect cum Technical Lead experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, including multiple Salesforce clouds such as Sales and Service.
- Knowledge and experience with MuleSoft and familiarity with AWS; experience with Odaseva, Apex coding, and DevOps is advantageous.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, and Salesforce Integration Architect certifications are strongly preferred.
- Platform App Builder, MuleSoft Developer I, MuleSoft Developer II, and MuleSoft Architect certifications are advantageous.
- Experience with the SHIP-HATS platform, including GitLab for version control and deployment, is required.
- Experience with project-management tools such as Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder communication, analytical and problem-solving, technical-documentation, leadership, and software-development task-management skills.
- Experience supporting government projects and familiarity with Agile development methodologies are advantageous.
