Responsibilities
- Build, test, deploy, and own Python microservices.
- Solve complex software problems with reliable, well-tested, resilient, and observable systems.
- Shape architectural decisions so systems scale without becoming difficult to change.
- Improve team code quality through reviews and clear, well-documented code.
- Ship outcomes with engineers and Product Managers as part of a product team.
- Improve team processes and influence engineering strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and maintaining backend systems and cloud microservices.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming fundamentals.
- Experience with testing frameworks, debugging, refactoring, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working understanding of SQL and document databases.
- Ability to work independently, take business and product ownership, and adapt as requirements evolve.
- Curiosity and willingness to use and learn AI tools daily.
- Python experience is preferred, though strong experience in another programming language is accepted.
