Responsibilities
- Define the technical direction for Android and mobile-facing systems.
- Lead hands-on Android system design to solve complex mobile-system problems.
- Shape mobile work design, review, testing, and operational practices.
- Create mobile-facing system contracts to manage complexity.
- Enhance mobile-system judgment and standards across teams.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in modern production Android architecture.
- Ability to represent mobile platform principles with some iOS fluency.
- Experience shaping mobile-facing platform contracts or backend service boundaries.
- Ability to read, debug, and contribute to backend systems.
- Experience with AI-enabled engineering systems for validation and quality.
- Strong reliability and release-quality judgment across mobile systems.
- Proven track record of improving engineering standards and judgment.
