Responsibilities
- Define, refine, and own the overall architectural vision for the ServiceNow platform in IT.
- Lead end-to-end design decisions for the transformation program and validate migration roadmaps, milestones, and success criteria.
- Represent the ServiceNow platform in enterprise governance boards or steering committees when needed.
- Identify technical roadblocks, develop contingency plans, and mitigate transformation risks.
- Develop measurable KPIs and metrics to track platform performance.
- Establish architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for consistency, performance, and security.
- Oversee end-to-end solution design and integration with peripheral systems in alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance requirements.
- Partner with security and compliance teams on data privacy, regulatory adherence, and cyber-risk considerations.
- Champion best practices, code quality, and DevOps approaches across ServiceNow implementation and release processes.
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of Solution, Technical, and Platform Architects.
- Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to developers, analysts, project managers, executives, business partners, and solutioning teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform administration, architecture, and design.
- At least five years of leadership experience with ServiceNow or related technical responsibilities.
- Demonstrable experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, GRC, and HRSD, including integrating them into a coherent platform architecture.
- Experience driving large-scale, complex technology transformations, ideally involving ServiceNow or similar platforms, is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder-management, team-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to executives, business partners, and solutioning teams or partners.
- Adept at conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus-building in matrixed or highly complex environments.
- Familiarity with basic AI tools is considered an advantage.
