Responsibilities
- Define the long-term strategy for agentic AI deployments across industries.
- Lead a high-performing Agent Builder expert team delivering agentic solutions directly with customers.
- Establish best practices and reference architectures for Model Context Protocol, inter-agent communication, and AI orchestration in multi-agent systems.
- Standardize the Agentic Development Life Cycle across engagements and oversee project delivery.
- Ensure deployed agents meet customer needs and scale robustly in enterprise production environments.
- Evangelize Salesforce’s agentic architecture vision with internal teams, strategic customers, industry partners, and ecosystem developers.
- Build an operational model for enterprise-ready, production-grade agentic systems.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Sales, security, and legal teams to shape strategy, execution, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Oversee data privacy and compliance policies for agentic AI deployments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise-grade applications or enterprise AI systems.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership roles overseeing technical teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence executive stakeholders on complex technical roadmaps.
- Expertise in AI implementations involving RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases for grounding Agentforce solutions with enterprise data.
- Expert-level knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous processing.
- Current, comprehensive knowledge of foundational and frontier LLMs, their capabilities, use cases, and enterprise AI tooling ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of enterprise AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, data-driven decisioning, and autonomous action design.
- Ability to think strategically while remaining technically credible with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time to customer sites as needed.
- Preferred: experience architecting data or integration solutions using MuleSoft, Einstein GenAI Agentforce, or a similar platform.
- Preferred: industry thought leadership in AI and enterprise integrations.
- Preferred: experience leading multidisciplinary teams in fast-scaling or global enterprise environments.
- Preferred: a track record of production-ready deployments in secure, regulated enterprise environments.
