Base Salary
$130k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with law enforcement agencies and prosecutors to understand evidence-management challenges.
- Build practical solutions for user problems, including one-off analyses and custom integrations.
- Travel 25% to 75% of the time to meet customers and gather frontline insights.
- Convert customer feedback into pull requests and clear technical specifications for the product roadmap.
- Operate across the full stack in a fast-moving early-stage environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience building and delivering production systems.
- Experience working directly with end users, translating their needs into technical solutions, and shipping those solutions.
- Experience in early-stage or fast-paced environments with rapidly shifting requirements and high autonomy.
- A track record at a strong engineering organization; startup experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively and engage deeply with field users.
- Openness to supporting an FBI background check and CJIS clearance process.
- Experience in government, defense, intelligence, or public-sector technology is a strong plus.
- Mission-driven interest in public safety and government effectiveness.
Benefits
- Base salary of $130,000 to $215,000 USD annually, plus founding-level equity and performance-based bonuses.

- Hybrid work arrangement in New York City, with a secondary presence in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Remote work with regular travel may be considered for exceptional candidates.
- Travel expectation is 25% to 75% of the time.
