Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and ship next-generation ranking and ML backend systems for app and game discovery.
- Collaborate with ML, data science, and product teams to define signals and APIs for ranking models.
- Explore and implement new retrieval and ranking approaches for enhanced user experiences.
- Champion best practices for reliability and observability in ranking systems.
- Write efficient, scalable code in Go, Python, Baseplate, and GraphQL.
- Mentor engineers and lead discussions on ranking and personalization strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven track record in cross-functional product teams, focusing on end-user outcomes.
- Experience in designing and improving ML tooling and platforms.
- Strong background in developing efficient ML or ranking systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
