Responsibilities
- Build and develop cloud-managed access control systems for managing doors, schedules, and user credentials.
- Drive less-defined product ideas through completion and deliver best-in-class products and experiences.
- Take technical ownership of major systems and solve complex distributed-systems problems.
- Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers in a startup-like team environment.
- Teach and learn new technologies while contributing to a growing product line.
Requirements
- BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or science.
- 5+ years of industry software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one common server programming language, such as Python or Go.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems, including databases, queues, and blob storage.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week.
