Responsibilities
- Develop new application functionality as part of the backend engineering team.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and problems.
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to provide technical input on solutions.
- Help identify and resolve bugs and maintain platform stability.
- Define sustainable designs and architectures that support future platform evolution.
- Analyze problems, propose solutions, ask for help when needed, and share knowledge with teammates.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of backend development experience using Java.
- Strong programming fundamentals and a commitment to good practices, maintainable design, and sustainable architecture.
- Experience working collaboratively with engineering, product, UX, and business teams.
- Curiosity, initiative, willingness to keep learning, and ability to communicate and share knowledge.
- Ability to read technical material in English; spoken English is a plus.
- Frontend experience and familiarity with functional programming paradigms are preferred qualifications.
- Experience with Spring is relevant because it is part of the company’s primary technology stack.
