Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code for AWS resources including VPCs, EC2/ECS, load balancers, RDS/Aurora, IAM policies, and security groups
- Develop Terraform modules and automation pipelines for Okta, ZScaler, MDM, and EDR corporate infrastructure platforms
- Build CI/CD pipelines with version control, code review, and automated validation for infrastructure deployments
- Write Python and/or Go automation tooling to eliminate manual operational toil
- Design, architect, and support resilient infrastructure for Octane’s applications
- Implement configuration as code for identity governance, access policies, network configurations, and endpoint management policies
- Engineer identity and access management and IGA platforms, including lifecycle automation, governance workflows, SSO/SAML integrations, and AWS IAM configurations
- Own zero-trust network architecture using ZScaler/SASE, policy as code, service edge infrastructure, and cloud networking integrations
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability for infrastructure systems
- Participate in infrastructure incident response and on-call, conduct blameless postmortems, and drive corrective actions
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or cloud platform engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in management information sciences, telecommunications, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and/or AWS CDK for module development, state management, and automated deployment workflows
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2/ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including EKS
- Experience automating identity lifecycles, SSO/SAML, and identity as code with Okta, Azure AD, or similar platforms
- Experience with build automation using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD
- Networking fundamentals and experience with zero-trust platforms such as ZScaler
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and solve complex analytical problems independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty certification preferred
- CISM, Microsoft IAAA, CIAM, CISSP, or Okta Certified Administrator certification is a plus
