Base Salary
$230k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve distributed systems to support tenfold growth in session volume
- Improve throughput, fault tolerance, and system resilience across the core pipeline
- Build scalable data pipelines and processing infrastructure
- Strengthen observability, monitoring, and incident response
- Reduce operational bottlenecks and technical debt
- Collaborate with AI and product teams to ensure underlying systems support new capabilities at scale
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience with a backend or infrastructure focus
- Expertise in Python and AWS infrastructure
- Experience building and scaling data-intensive applications and pipelines
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and database internals
- A proven track record of improving system reliability and performance in production
- Experience scaling high-throughput or real-time processing systems and working with distributed architectures, databases, queues, concurrency, and APIs
