Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Create and maintain Terraform modules, remote state, and tenant- or subscription-level state isolation for live environments.
- Deploy and manage Azure resources using Bicep or ARM templates.
- Provision, configure, upgrade, and operate Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, including node pool and cluster-level configuration.
- Design Azure networking with virtual networks, private endpoints, private DNS, Azure Firewall, application gateways or WAF, public DNS, and certificate management.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, managed identity, workload identity, and RBAC role assignments.
- Operate Azure Key Vault and secret-consumption patterns for Kubernetes workloads.
- Design Azure tenant and subscription structures using management groups, Azure Policy, and subscription provisioning.
- Maintain Git-based infrastructure-as-code workflows with pull-request review and CI-driven plan and apply processes.
- Use PowerShell and Bash or Python for infrastructure automation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure production experience.
- 3+ years writing and maintaining Terraform for live environments at scale.
- Production experience with Terraform module design, remote state, and state isolation.
- Experience with Bicep or ARM templates, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure networking, Azure identity, Azure Key Vault, and Azure governance.
- Experience with Git-based infrastructure-as-code workflows, pull-request review, and CI-driven plan and apply.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell and either Bash or Python.
- Professional working English.
- Preferred experience with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure landing zone accelerator, cross-tenant or multi-tenant Azure delivery, Azure Lighthouse, customer-owned subscriptions, Azure Marketplace managed applications, private offers, ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible, Azure Policy, Kyverno, and Oracle workloads on Azure.
- Preferred certification such as AZ-305, AZ-400, or CKA.
