Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production use.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production environments.
- Partner directly with large enterprises and startups to address business challenges and deploy AI agents at scale.
- Develop generalizable agent frameworks for industry-specific use cases.
- Prototype platform tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale.
- Use customer insights to guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and the ability to ship creatively.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred: founder or founding engineer experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Preferred: experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
