Responsibilities

Lead architectural work for AI-native product engineering, including API contracts, semantic naming, module boundaries, and agent-effective codebase standards.
Build repo-versioned context infrastructure that improves the output of Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex.
Create self-healing incident workflows that triage alerts, retrieve logs and history, and suggest remediation.
Build multi-step agent workflows with tool use, autonomous task execution, and human-gated checkpoints for product features.
Optimize AI code review to detect correctness, security, and maintainability issues while reducing review noise.
Ship AI-first product features end to end with engineers, product managers, and designers.
Set technical direction and make product trade-off decisions while accelerating validated learning.

6–10+ years of production software engineering experience.
Strong backend skills in Python, Kotlin, or Java, including evolving service-level logic and infrastructure.
Hands-on LLM experience in real products, including prompt design, context management, evaluation, and trade-offs involving hallucinations, latency, cost, and reliability.
Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures, including queues, asynchronous processing, and service-to-service communication.
Daily use of AI coding tools as a core workflow practice.
Experience building agentic systems in production or deep experience with multi-step LLM workflows involving tool use, memory, and orchestration.
Strong preference for a former founding engineer or founder with 0-to-1 product development experience.
