Responsibilities

Develop control plane services for Flink job lifecycles including submission, scaling, and recovery.
Build Kubernetes operators and orchestrators for serverless resource management.
Design APIs for job management, multi-tenancy, and isolation.
Ensure code quality, test coverage, documentation, and maintainability of components.
Draft designs and moderate decisions with stakeholders.
Lead team meetings and initiatives, and participate in on-call rotations.
Mentor less experienced engineers in control plane architecture and serverless Apache Flink.

10+ years of relevant software development experience.
Deep knowledge of distributed systems orchestration, such as Kubernetes.
Experience building high-scale control planes, API servers, or cloud-native infrastructure.
Knowledge of containerization, networking, and resource isolation.
Strong problem-solving skills to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
