Base Salary

$155k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of two to five engineers and provide coaching, performance feedback, workload planning, and delivery guidance.
  • Design, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Java and Spring backend services and enterprise applications.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs, business logic, data access components, batch processes, secure file transfers, and external system integrations.
  • Develop and maintain React, Angular, TypeScript, and JSP-based frontend applications integrated with secure backend services.
  • Support PostgreSQL databases through SQL development, optimization, troubleshooting, reporting, and scheduled data exports.
  • Maintain integrations with Talend and Liquibase and support CMS Enterprise Portal, Identity Management, MFA, role-based access, and user provisioning.
  • Develop and support AWS-hosted applications using EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus.
  • Participate in release planning, deployments, regression testing, production support, defect resolution, and technical debt reduction.
  • Conduct code reviews, produce technical documentation, and collaborate with product, business analysis, QA, DevOps, UX, and client stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CMS Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and Maven.
  • Experience with React, Angular, and TypeScript; JSP familiarity is a plus.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL development, and database troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus.
  • Experience supporting enterprise integrations, authentication and authorization, and production operations in an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
