Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and establish standards for validating AI-generated outputs.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve delivery and operational outcomes.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system stability.
- Lead technical evaluations with external vendors, startups, and internal teams.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of new technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency with AWS, including EKS, ECS, Lambda, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and RDS.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience and advanced proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or Spring Boot.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, with experience coaching engineers on safe adoption.
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle practices, automation, continuous delivery, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred experience with JFrog Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, NPM, PyPI, NuGet, Docker, GraphQL, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
