Responsibilities

Understand end-to-end high-level architecture and translate it into owned low-level designs with architects.
Provide technical direction for the product area and coordinate cross-team dependencies and integration points.
Contribute to feature definition, concept selection, task breakdown, estimation, sprint planning, and resolution of technical impediments.
Own production readiness, including non-functional requirements, code quality, code reviews, and adherence to engineering standards.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.
Mentor team members, document design decisions, participate in interviews and hiring decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
Act as the primary technical contact across Product, Architecture, and Platform teams and communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or other languages relevant to Azure development.
Experience with Microsoft .NET and Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
Hands-on experience designing and operating event-driven systems using Event Sourcing and CQRS.
Experience with React, Next.js, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
Experience working with web services and APIs such as REST.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, particularly Azure database services.
Proficiency with Azure services including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage.
Understanding of cloud security best practices, clean code development, unit testing, and test-driven development.
Familiarity with source code version control, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
Working knowledge of Agile development practices, strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and fluency in spoken and written English.
Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted coding tools, UX design collaboration, Terraform or ARM templates, and relevant Azure certifications is an asset.
