Responsibilities
- Build and maintain native mobile applications delivering customer-facing banking and credit card features.
- Translate application designs into working code across mobile and backend platforms, including Android and Java Spring Boot microservices.
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts using BDD frameworks, execute tests, and record results.
- Participate in requirements grooming, design review, integration testing, end-to-end validation, release go-live activities, and post-production support.
- Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, unit test creation, API scaffolding, and debugging.
- Perform functional and accessibility validation, analyze application defects and performance issues, and collaborate on resolution and prevention.
- Support stable, quality deployments within an Agile and CI/CD environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of application development experience with hands-on native iOS development skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development concepts and experience contributing to automated test scripts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams across the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to write secure, stable, maintainable code and own features through delivery.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across onshore and offshore teams.
- Angular or Android native development experience is advantageous.
- Exposure to Selenium with Cucumber, OpenShift, and AI-assisted development tools is beneficial.
