Base Salary

$167k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

Create new data pipelines and tooling for Redfin’s data ingestion platform.
Build integrations and infrastructure pipelines for MLS, property, schools, climate, and other inventory data.
Work with spatial and shape data and integrate latitude/longitude data within shapefiles.
Develop large-scale applications backed by relational and non-relational databases.
Build tooling to monitor, maintain, and update essential data.
Design, architect, and implement solutions for difficult partner-team challenges.
Provide thought leadership, teaching, and mentorship to other developers.
Participate in an on-call rotation for production systems when applicable, including possible nights and weekends.

5+ years of experience developing full-stack data ingestion platforms.
Experience developing large-scale applications backed by relational and non-relational databases.
Experience with Kafka, Java, Python, Postgres, SQL, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Airflow, and AWS.
Experience building tooling to monitor, maintain, and update essential data.
Ability to provide technical leadership in system design and architecture.
Leadership and mentoring skills, including the ability to improve other developers.
Curiosity, willingness to take risks, and enthusiasm for championing new ideas.
