Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using serverless, containerized, and event-driven architectures.
- Architect backend systems that scale across multiple availability zones and regions with high availability and low latency.
- Optimize cloud-native data stores and implement caching strategies for enterprise-scale throughput.
- Build resilient APIs and apply security and compliance best practices.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource consumption and backend performance for cost effectiveness.
- Apply and mentor best practices while managing multiple projects and collaborating with teammates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, applied statistics, information technology, or engineering with a software focus.
- Good understanding of current trends in backend development for cloud applications.
- Strong backend engineering background and ability to design cloud-native, resilient, elastic services.
- Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, time management, and multitasking ability.
