Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-native microservices using serverless, containerized, and event-driven architectures.
  • Architect backend systems that scale across multiple availability zones and regions with high availability and low latency.
  • Optimize cloud-native data stores and implement caching strategies for enterprise-scale throughput.
  • Build resilient APIs and apply security and compliance best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource consumption and backend performance for cost effectiveness.
  • Apply and mentor best practices while managing multiple projects and collaborating with teammates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, applied statistics, information technology, or engineering with a software focus.
  • Good understanding of current trends in backend development for cloud applications.
  • Strong backend engineering background and ability to design cloud-native, resilient, elastic services.
  • Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, time management, and multitasking ability.
