Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes.
- Qualify customer use cases, deliver customized demos, and lead technical portions of deal cycles.
- Scope and execute proof-of-concept projects, including data ingestion, architecture, success criteria, and analytics rollout strategies.
- Communicate with developers, product managers, CIOs, executives, and other stakeholders to connect technical capabilities with business value.
- Partner with Account Executives to drive revenue growth and act as the key technical customer contact.
- Work with post-sales teams to translate pre-sales value propositions into customer results.
- Build relationships with technical stakeholders, uncover customer needs, and relay prospect feedback to the Product team.
Requirements
- Fluency in conversational and business Spanish and English.
- Six or more years of experience in SaaS sales engineering or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience qualifying and selling technical solutions to executive stakeholders.
- Experience with data querying, modeling, and transformation using SQL, dbt, Python, business intelligence platforms, or product analytics tools.
- Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses including Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Experience in sales engineering, consulting, or technical project management.
- Strong written, analytical, communication, presentation, process, and project delivery skills.
- Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Gemini.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Bonus qualifications include value engineering, ROI modeling, product-led growth, sales-assisted conversion, and high-growth SaaS experience.
