Responsibilities
- Own the architectural roadmap and provide architecture solutions during the software development lifecycle.
- Provision and manage VMware-based test environments and reusable virtual machine templates.
- Maintain, upgrade, optimize, troubleshoot, and allocate hardware resources for OpenStack environments.
- Maintain Jira, Confluence, GitLab, SonarQube, and Jenkins engineering tools.
- Maintain and improve the Perl-based build system, Oracle database usage, and automated test infrastructure.
- Administer Oracle databases, including users, tablespaces, performance tuning, and security.
- Optimize FOSS and Checkmarx security-scan workflows and integrate them with CI/CD.
- Maintain NIS, NFS, routing tables, Apache, NGINX, and TLS certificates.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and network issues with IT and Network teams.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree in information technology, management information systems, software engineering, or networking.
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
- Strong Linux administration experience, preferably with RHEL, including services, patching, backups, and performance troubleshooting.
- Good networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and DNS concepts.
- Experience with OpenStack or VMware.
- Hands-on administration or maintenance experience with Jira Server, GitLab Server, Jenkins, SonarQube Server, or Confluence Server and their associated technologies.
