Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, manage, and support customer AWS cloud environments across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, observability, security governance, and continuous service improvement.
- Lead incident and problem management activities and contribute to platform strategy and cloud operating model evolution.
- Advise and enable customers on cloud technology, automation, DevOps/DevSecOps culture, and modern ways of working.
- Maintain secure, optimized, resilient, and compliant customer cloud environments.
- Provide on-call operational leadership and after-hours support.
- Bridge application technology teams, customer support teams, architects, service delivery teams, and engineers.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting AWS solutions in production environments.
- Experience with AWS CodePipeline and infrastructure as code tools including CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, and Pulumi.
- Ability to develop AWS Lambda functions using Python.
- Knowledge of hybrid and multicloud design, scalable and resilient architectures, AWS account structures, Control Tower, LZA, SCPs, tagging, and cost controls.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, S3, Lambda, SSM Patch Manager, AWS Backup, and SQS.
- Experience with identity management, IAM, Identity Center, roles, STS, MFA, and policy writing.
- Knowledge of AWS networking including VPC, security groups, Transit Gateway, ALB/NLB, Route 53, CloudFront, WAF, and Shield.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including AWS Fargate.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and auditing including CIS, NZISM, PCI, HIPAA, and Security Hub.
- Experience configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch, log groups, SNS, EventBridge, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, containers, serverless, data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, IoT, APIs, and microservices.
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools such as Git and ADO.
- Strong technical knowledge, customer and stakeholder engagement skills, communication skills, and experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
- AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification is preferred.
- Dynatrace experience is a bonus.
