Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain workflows connecting Digital Engineering artifacts with Modeling & Simulation environments.
- Automate the extraction, transformation, synchronization, and exchange of engineering data across tools, repositories, platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Establish data mappings and support Digital Thread and Digital Twin traceability across requirements, architectures, models, simulations, and analytical products.
- Develop scripts, APIs, reusable workflow templates, integration patterns, and automation solutions that improve interoperability and data integrity.
- Develop, optimize, validate, and standardize repeatable modeling and simulation workflows.
- Advise customers, facilitate technical discussions and requirements workshops, and support solution development, demonstrations, pilot projects, and training.
- Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, architects, and program stakeholders on workflow implementation.
- Create workflow documentation, process guides, interface specifications, training materials, lessons learned, and process improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting Digital Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Data Connectivity, or related technical environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance eligibility.
- Experience supporting Modeling & Simulation workflows within engineering or acquisition programs.
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering concepts, Digital Threads, and Digital Twins.
- Experience integrating engineering data across multiple tools, repositories, and platforms.
- Experience with data transformation, workflow automation, systems integration, APIs, scripting, and automation technologies.
- Experience integrating Digital Engineering environments with simulation tools including MATLAB/Simulink, AFSIM, STK, ModelCenter, Simio, AnyLogic, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting Digital Thread implementation efforts within DoD or aerospace programs.
- Knowledge of cloud-based engineering environments and enterprise data architectures.
- Familiarity with software development practices, CI/CD concepts, DevSecOps environments, and Agile development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
