- Own end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of new features.
- Build production-ready frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Define solution designs balancing security, scalability, reliability, observability, and performance.
- Architect and implement maintainable, extensible, testable distributed systems and microservices.
- Investigate failures, propose design improvements, and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure development artifacts comply with security and regulatory standards.
- Apply software reliability engineering principles in daily development work.
- Conduct thorough, actionable code reviews and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with the US team across time zones to deliver aligned outcomes.
- Prioritize and size tasks, communicate blockers and risks, and contribute to the technology roadmap.
- Use generative AI coding techniques and AI-based workflows to navigate existing codebases and accelerate development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent work experience, with 7–9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience architecting and building highly maintainable, extensible, and testable distributed systems.
- Strong experience with modern frontend and backend frameworks, including Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development on AWS.
- Ability to design low-latency, high-throughput systems that scale reliably under heavy load.
- Experience with circuit breakers, rate limiting, caching strategies, Jenkins, CloudBees, GitLab, Apigee, Istio, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript design patterns and scalable Java and Spring Boot backend services.
- Proficiency with version control, Git branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Ability to analyze multiple domains, define solutions requirements, and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles, including continuous integration and deployment automation.
- Preferred experience securing applications and containers using certificates.
