Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of Airbnb’s authorization platform.
- Drive the next generation of authorization for AI and agentic workflows.
- Partner with various teams to align on authorization standards and improve developer experience.
- Lead design and execution of high-impact authorization initiatives.
- Set and uphold engineering standards through design reviews and mentorship.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in authorization, access control, or identity systems.
- Proven track record of owning complex technical strategies across organizations.
- Experience influencing engineering standards at a broader organizational level.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
- Familiarity with AI agent architectures is a strong plus.
