Base Salary
$228k - $347k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for identity and engagement platform services.
- Lead multi-quarter modernization efforts to improve scalability and reduce legacy dependencies.
- Design and enhance authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle services.
- Build systems that power engagement signals and analytics pipelines.
- Create reusable platform primitives and best practices for product teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, and AI/ML teams on technical decisions.
- Own delivery of complex initiatives, ensuring high-quality implementation.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale backend systems.
- Proven ability to lead architecture for distributed systems with high reliability.
- Strong expertise in identity/authn/authz, service API design, or analytics infrastructure.
- Track record of driving modernization efforts in complex environments.
- Excellent technical judgment balancing speed, stability, and maintainability.
- Strong communication skills for writing design docs and aligning stakeholders.
