Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and code features for Azure App Service Linux.
- Improve internal platform operations, process reliability, and system resilience.
- Identify ambiguous areas for improvement and implement solutions autonomously.
- Support live services through on-call work, investigations, rollouts, monitoring, and outage root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with C# or similar object-oriented programming.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with Linux-based operating systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with distributed systems.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800–$234,700 per year; a separate range applies to specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
