Responsibilities
- Create high- and low-level test designs and provide hands-on assurance for secure platforms.
- Write and execute automated test scripts using multiple automation techniques, frameworks, and tools.
- Perform associated test activities including test case creation, defect management, integration testing, acceptance testing, and customer sign-off support.
- Support delivery teams in achieving timely, high-quality releases and maintain compatibility of existing systems with external developments.
- Gather information and present findings to stakeholders.
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to more junior team members.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience writing and executing automated test scripts, including defect management and test case creation.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, and Postman, plus CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience using a dedicated test management tool such as HP ALM, TestRail, or X-Ray.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Java.
- Understanding of software methodologies including Waterfall/V-model, agile, lean, and incremental approaches.
- Understanding of databases and SQL, including MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Broad understanding of networking fundamentals, especially TCP/UDP and application-layer protocols such as TLS, HTTP, and DNS.
- Some knowledge of big data technologies and associated toolsets such as Elasticsearch and SIEM.
- Already holding DV security clearance.
- Either degree-level education with some experience as a technical engineering professional or significant experience in technical delivery.
