Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for the Eqlipse trading platform.
- Support APAC clients and ensure software reliability, performance, and quality standards.
- Maintain and improve code quality, code structure, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Sydney and global Nasdaq teams across time zones.
- Coordinate with overseas teams and customers, including occasional flexibility outside core working hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in software engineering using Java, Maven, and Git.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Business-level English proficiency for professional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate across global time zones.
- Preferred: experience building and deploying containerized applications.
- Preferred: familiarity with FIX, ITCH, or OUCH financial exchange protocols.
- Preferred: experience with global teams and cross-border collaboration in financial technology.
